• Surgical Internship 1975-1976, Nassau County Medical Center, New York, successful completion of surgical service
• General surgical residency 1976-1980, Nassau County Medical Center, New York. Appointed as Administrative Chief Surgical Resident 1979-1980. Residency included: Surgical Specialties of Urology, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Emergency Room, Burn Unit and Surgical Research
• Graduate 1982 Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, New York City, completing two years of Plastic Surgery Residency
